| Finished pictures of Alfred's Cabin at The Hermitage Below are some photos of Alfred's cabin fully restored. The restoration included a new wood shingle roof, new chinking and daubing, the patching of deteriorated logs, the flashing and tuck-pointing of the stone chimney, new trim at the exterior doors, a fresh coat of lime-based white wash on the interior log surfaces and the restoration of exterior clapboards.
