| Grau General Contracting, LLC was hired to replace the deteriorated column bases on the historic Parish House of the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church in Nashville. The weight of the roof above had to be temporarily supported while the old bases were removed and new column bases installed. The new bases were fabricated to perfectly match the existing bases. The bottom of the round wooden columns was also water damaged. GGC was able to remove only the deteriorated wood and install a wood patch, saving as much of the original historic material as possible. |
