| Morgan House The Historic Morgan House in Morgan Park is located in the Historic Germantown neighborhood in Nashville, TN. The scope of work included: Asbestos testing and abatement, tuck pointing limestone foundation, paint stripping and repainting, plaster repair, floor framing repair, fabrication and replication of window sashes, fabrication of interior doors, restoration of existing doors and windows, restoration and repair of hardwood flooring and restoration of historic door hardware. The original scope of work included the demolition of the commercial tile floor and sub floor. During the demolition phase we discovered the original heart pine wood floor and termite damage in the floor system, we removed the damaged flooring, repaired the framing and installed some matching heart pine flooring. We then re-finished the existing original flooring and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful features of the house. |
